*Funny Pics, Memories & Pictures pages all back on the site - Funny Pics has been updated, the others will be done during the next week.
*Seems this is the only site that has removed certain pages. If it stays that way the pages removed from this site will be put back on.

*Stu Blythe(235) was booked in for Wimbledon. Late mechanical problems prevented him from attending.
*Wimbledon race wins for David Burton(7), Simon Turner(324) & Daryl Harris(32).
*There will apparently be more V8 fixtures next year than there were this.
*Spedeworth do not wish the points chart to be put on any websites, other than their own. You will therefore no longer see the official points chart on this site.
*Race Winners table updated. Dennis Harris(34),David Burton(7) & Peter Scott Jnr(99) all finished with 6 wins each. Harris & Burton won 2 finals, Scotty Jnr won 6 heats.
25th October
*Rumour: Simon Turner(324) is switching to BriSCA F2 next year.
*Anybody with adverts on the for sale/wanted page, please send an email to v8stockcars@googlemail.com  to confirm that you wish your ad to stay there in order to keep the page current. Please confirm by 30th November - all unconfirmed will be deleted after that date.
24th October
*A go-kart night is apparently being arranged for December.
*If anybody fancies racing in Australia in January, they can do (Deane has to give the OK first). Anybody interested contact Spedeworth direct.
*The mystery track was Harringay.
*New points charts are out but no new one for the V8s - they stay as they were on the last chart!
*Best lap times from Wimbledon (Sept 30th): Race 1, 51.505 by David Burton(7). Race2, 50.790 by Dennis Harris(34). World Final, 50.892 by David Burton(7).
*Just to repeat what's on the homepage - first two provisional dates for 2008 are both at Wimbledon, 24th February & 23rd March.

*Congratulations to Colin Goodswen(72), the new World Champion.
*Engines were checked at the end of the meeting - all legal.

IT IS NOT THE OFFICIAL POINTS CHART
 Points have been awarded as follows: 10 for a win, down to 1 for heats (10, 9, 8, 7 etc),
20 down to 2 for Finals ( 20, 18, 16, 14 etc).
All meetings have been counted and Championships
have been scored the same as normal meeting Finals.
