UNOFFICIAL
National Points Chart No3, 2008
V8 Stock Cars
Up to & including 29th March
Effective 13th April 2008

The V8s points chart has now been amended by Spedeworth. Both their sites
now show the same points, as below. Mark Guinchard(183) is not shown on
the chart even though he scored points at the Wimbledon March meeting, so
it's anyone's guess what grade he is!
Finally, please remember that this chart is UNOFFICIAL. Any queries with
regards the points, check the Spedeworth sites first and do not refer to this
chart if you have to contact them.

What do you drivers think about the way points are awarded at present?
It seems as though no driver can work out how many points they have
scored because of the complicated way in which they are awarded. I can't
tell you exactly how they are worked out as Spedeworth haven't replied
to my emails. I do know that double points are awarded for Finals, but
why? It's all cars in all races and the chances are there's less cars in the
Final than there is in the heats. It's not as though you have to qualify.
Would you, the drivers, prefer a system whereby you were able to simply
work out how many points you scored at a meeting and would you prefer
Final pints to be the same as the heats?
