The Guide to Install Spoiler on 2011-2014 Dodge Charger
We are doing the installation on the this is a 2012 charger spoiler. We’re gonna put it on, going to show you the basic installation.
You have these basically markers, they go on the bottom of the spoiler. Lift it up, once you get the spoiler in place, these will basically be a template. So once you get these templates on there, just boiler set on there. You need to measure it out your template.
This is just some regular painters tape so it won’t pull you, it won’t pull off the paint or nothing like it. Masking tape will work that’s all. There’s blue masking tape very basically, but you get that template tape now go over here about to get the other template tape.
First there you go the spoils lifted off, that’s how the templates will look in place. They come with drill holes basically, that’s what’s called a template trying to focus there you go that that hole and all start off using an eighth-inch drill bit. Before put the bolts in you will go up to a 5/8 drill.
Drilling the main part is this measuring Union via measurements down together getting where you wanted decided to got to hold space inside the trunk, we’re basically cement feet set up for a spoiler.
Removing the templates you have two small holes in your trunk, for actually two on each side. That’s basically where you’re gonna be lining up spoiler up to get it set up for a car. It’d be good to have you charged up, in this case, are zinc so we’re gonna take a pause for the cause.
Spoiler come with these adhesive pads that go on the bottom side, that’s the space between the trunk of your car and your spoiler. So these just peel and stick alright there we go we got the adhesive pads on the strips both sides, now mountain old car.
We went in through the trunk lid, it’s kind of just semi-secured in there finger tight and then going through upside and getting this other one on, just finger tight fit perfect at home and all the hole.
